Christopher Dupree, or Wordspit, is born with that drive for Hip Hop, as his mother loved music and his father was also a musician. Combining these two childhood motivations of Wordspit, he indeed took music as more than just a passion, but a life dedication.
He had a talent to entertain, where he would freestyle with relative ease. During high school, he was known to be be good at “spitting”, which involved fast-paced rapping. Through this, he adopted the name “Wordspit”, as a testament to the rapping skill he is known for.
He has performed alongside legendary “Smooth the Hustler” and other underground artists like Mickey Fatz, Hi-Jnyx, Outasight, and Print.
Wordspit describes his style when he said that he was a lyricist with a broad imagination. Through this, he develops different perspectives and mixes all of these elements into a good song that provides the emotions he want to convey to the audience. Through this innovation, Wordspit combines high speed rapping with creativity to add that unique flavor he brings to the stage.
He produced “The coolest Bboi Stance Vol. 1″, which he is proud of. Through this, Wordspit continues to develop his music talent and creativity with continued dedication in the music industry.
Hip Hop, as Wordspit puts it, is going through a depression. He says that he heard people talking about how Hip Hop is dead, but he proves that, through his musical dedication, Hip Hop is indeed alive and on its way to becoming a strong industry of music.
