Keyshia Cole Celebrates 30th Birthday and Talks of New Album “Woman to Woman”

It looks as though Keyshia Cole has nothing but great news. We’ve heard about her lavish wedding with NBA player Daniel Boobie Gibson and he new addition to the family. She is a successful wife, mother and R&B singer with an upcoming album dedicated to the women, “Woman to Woman”. Last week, her hubby threw her an 80s themed 30th birthday bash for Mrs. Gibson. She dressed up like the 80s Madonna, with a custom-made ballet-style dress and a gigantic bow. Boobie Gibson wore an 80s Run DMC style Adidas red track suit and gold chain. The birthday party was held at Tavo Martini Loft in her hometown Cleveland, Ohio. Some of the celebrity guests that made an appearance include Biz Markie and Kevin Liles.

“[Daniel] threw me the best birthday weekend celebration EVER! I had sooo much fun. Way too much fun!” tweeted Keyshia.

Keyshia’s upcoming album is a follow-up to last year’s album called Calling All Hearts. She’s done a collabo with Trey Songs, and has been noted being in the studio with other popular stars like Cool & Dre, Ester Dean, Boi-1da and Toxic. You’ll soon hear her first single, which will be out this December. This album will be her first release without Interscope A&R executive Ron Fair, who left the company earlier this year.

“So excited about this album! Although Ron Fair is no longer with Geffen records, N i’m very accustomed 2 him being here. MY NEW TEAM IS GR8,” she tweeted. “I will name them all very soon. New team. New life. New album. My child. My husband. 30’s are the new 20’s LOL. AND SO FORTH AND SO ON.”

Keyshia Cole Wants to Collab w/ Nickelback

A lot of hip hop and R&B artists are turning to alternative music collaborations, and the same goes for Keyshia Cole. She says that she would like to collaborate with none other than Nickelback, who sings “Calling All Hearts”.

“I love them as a group. I truly do, and I would love, love, love, absolutely love to do a song that is very heartfelt and alternative and R&B somehow in the same light.”

Keyshia Cole has worked with celebs like P. Diddy and Kanye West, which is one of her favorite collabos thus far. But her dream is to work with Nickelback next. She also said that she would like to hook up with Eminem in the future.

“Me and Eminem doing a collaboration?” Cole wondered aloud on the set of the visual for her Nicki Minaj collabo “I Ain’t Thru.” “I just think he made the hardest comeback for 2010, and I support him all the way, and he’s just dope, he’s just dope.”

If those two collabs don’t work out, she still has some great ones with artists like Nicki Minaj.

“It was dope [in the studio]. She’s very, very professional. She sat in the corner and wrote her part and then actually she wrote two raps to the song,” Cole confided. “She actually did one verse and was like, ‘Keyshia, I think I can do so much better.’ And I was like, ‘Absolutely not — it’s dope and leave it the way it is.’ And then I saw her again and she was like, ‘Please, just let me do my thing,’ and I was like, ‘absolutely,’ ’cause I understand where she comes from.”

Keyshia Cole’s New Boo and Show Spin-Off

Not sure if you’ve heard about Keyshia Cole and her baller boyfriend, Boobie Gibson, but it is definitely official. If it wasn’t before, it is now…because she tatted his name on her body! Now you really have to be in love to do such a thing. I hope things work out for them because it really hurts trying to get a tattoo removed. Guess jewelry with name plates aren’t fashionable anymore.

Back in March, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson appeared on “Good Morning Cleveland” show and was asked if he was still single. He said that he’s single and that the only way he wouldn’t be is if Keyshia Cole called him. Now, it is official that the two are dating, just look at their happy photos plastered all over the web. I guess it does pay off to reveal your secret crush on national television. And in case you don’t know who Boobie Gibson is, he is a guard on the Cavaliers team. Looks like now he’ll be guarding Keyshia from the tons of men waiting in line to bag her.

Have you been watching Keyshia Cole’s show? If so, then you’ve noticed how her sister Neffe and her mother Frankie kinda overshadowed Keyshia. You seen plenty of arguments and tears between the two and from that, they will now have their own reality show, “Frankie & Neffe”, which will air on August 18th. This will be something interesting to watch. BET liked the ratings Keyshia Cole’s show received and it was all because of Frankie and Neffe. So let’s see if the spin-off show will be as successful.

Tours for 2009

Hip hop tours are poppin all over the globe. First, we have rumors that Keyshia Cole, Rihanna and Ciara will be touring together, so if you’re looking for a great R&B concert, you should definitely check out the dates and cities to for this show. No dates have been set yet, but keep an eye and ear out. Supposedly, Rihanna would like to team up with strong women for a “women empowerment” type tour. This trio would definitely empower the women in their concert crowds with their soulful voices and lyrics.

Rihanna has a live concert in Dubai coming up; yes it has been confirmed. There will be 25,000 tickets available for sale. No exact location has been set, but it may be in an outside arena…wouldn’t that be lovely?

Beyonce is also on tour, but has told interviewers that she is looking to wrap things up and take two years off to play the role of a wife to her husband Jay-Z, who is also on tour by the way. The two currently try to link their calendars together, so that they can schedule time together. B definitely misses her boo while on tour, so to help her feel better, she has Jay-Zs name written on the nails of her index, middle and ring fingers. This helps her to remember him and even makes her smile she says. Beyonce is really looking forward to starting a family and leading a somewhat normal life.
