Remember State Property? You know, the Philly rap group that consists of Beanie Sigel, Peedi Crakk, Omilio Sparks, Young Gunz, Freeway and Oschino. Yeah, the one that was hot in the 90s and early 2000s, and came out with two movies (State Property and State Property pt 2). Two days ago, the group decided to come back together in Atlantic City, New Jersey to do a performance.
Peedi Crakk and Beanie performed “Flipside” and Beanie “Beanie (Mack B***h)”. Then they all came together to perform “Roc the Mic”. This all took place at Summerfest on July 2nd. Other that were at the event include Rick Ross and Meek Mill, another Philly rapper.
It seems that this won’t be the only reuniting that State Property will do: Beanie Sigel revealed that they will be shooting a new installment of State Property 3.
“We’re in agreement on this. Everybody wanted to do their solo thing and spread their wings and stand out on their own. Now it’s just time,” Beanie Sigel told the Atlantic City Press.
“They [State Property] have changed and it’s puzzling to me. They got better,” Beanie Sigel continued. “I think Peedi Crakk is a megastar. Chris from the Young Gunz is a megastar. They grew.”
Can’t wait to watch State Property 3. Do you think that it will be a good movie and would you like to see the group get back together to do another CD?
