    Shipping Policy

    Order Processing

    • Orders ship Monday – Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays.
    • Most orders ship within 1 business day, but please allow up to 5 business days for processing.
    • Solid gold items are made to order and require an additional 7 business days for production before shipment.

    Shipping Upgrade Delivery Window

    • Shipping upgrade delivery windows begin once an order has been processed and shipped, not from the date the order is placed. Processing time is separate from shipping time and must be completed before the carrier's delivery window begins.

    Package Protection with Redo

    If your order includes Redo Package Protection, you are covered for:

    • Lost or missing packages
    • Stolen packages
    • Items damaged during shipping (excluding manufacturing defects)

    In the event of an approved Redo claim, King Ice will issue a full replacement at no cost.

    If Redo Package Protection is not added at checkout:

    • King Ice will only provide a return shipping label if the wrong item is sent.

    Expedited Shipping (2-Day & Overnight)

    • Orders must be placed by 8:00 AM PST to ship the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff will ship the next business day.
    • Expedited shipments:
      • Do not deliver on weekends
      • Cannot ship to P.O. Boxes

    International Shipping

    International Shipping Terms

    • Free shipping promotions do not apply to international orders.
    • International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, customs fees, or handling charges imposed by the destination country.
      • These fees are not included in your order total.
      • They are determined by local customs authorities and are the customer’s responsibility.
      • King Ice does not reimburse or control customs-related charges.
    • U.S. customs regulations require that the full retail value of all items be declared, regardless of discounts or promotions.
    • King Ice cannot alter declared values. Customers are encouraged to check with their local customs office before ordering.

    International Return to Sender Shipments

    If an international package is returned to us:

    • The package will be held upon return to our facility. The customer will be notified by email and given the option to reship.
    • For reshipments:
      • The customer is responsible for 50% of the original shipping cost, and King Ice will cover the remaining 50%
      • This applies to all international return-to-sender situations.
      • King Ice does not cover reshipping costs for circumstances outside our control.

    US return to sender orders are eligible for one reshipment on us.

    Carrier Responsibility & Tracking

    • Once an order leaves our facility, King Ice cannot:
      • Reroute
      • Intercept
      • Modify delivery details
    • Customers have access to the same tracking information we do.
    • Once a package reaches the destination country, all delivery or customs inquiries must be directed to the local carrier using the provided tracking number.

    International Shipping Alerts

    • USPS may temporarily suspend service to certain international destinations.
    • Customers are responsible for reviewing current availability on the USPS International Service Alerts page before placing an order.

    Shipping Fees

    • Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped. Shipping is considered a service provided once the package is handed to the carrier.
    • If a package is returned to us, shipping fees will not be refunded.

    Shipping fees will only be refunded if:

    • A confirmed error was made by King Ice (e.g., incorrect item shipped), or
    • The package is confirmed lost in transit, and responsibility is determined to be on our end after carrier review.

    Shipping refunds do not apply to:

    • Carrier delays
    • Address errors
    • Customs refusals
    • Return-to-sender situations outside our control

    Delivery Estimates & Terms

    • Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
    • Delays may occur due to weather, carrier issues, or peak shipping periods.
    • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands may require additional time or fees.

    Lost or Not Received Packages

    • King Ice allows the carrier the full delivery timeframe to complete the shipment before taking action. After that timeframe has passed, we can assist with opening a carrier claim.
    • If Redo Package Protection was purchased, claims will be handled according to Redo’s coverage terms.

    If the claim is approved, we will proceed with a reshipment of the original items.
