Cyn Santana Says Jewelry is a Personal Choice

Cyn Santana has one of the best personalities, and her music is equally as fire. Boasting 3.8 million followers on Instagram alone, the Love & Hip Hop star holds nothing back when it comes to speaking her mind. Beyond her presence online, it’s her music that ultimately drives her passion on the daily.

Most recently, she released her new project titled Redirected Energy, speaking volumes to the current times. While we’re all suffering through the rollercoaster of 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic and systematic racism, Cyn reminds us that music is the cure, and negative energy is forbidden.

King Ice caught up with Cyn via Instagram Live to discuss her take on jewelry, and the turning point at age 21.

What’s the most expensive piece of jewelry you own?

I actually got robbed at gunpoint when I was 21 so I no longer own or care for jewelry. My favorite pieces were my earrings though, I was so sad they took them. They were white 14K, like 6 racks. My finger’s available though for a nice rock. [winks]

Do you feel you have to wear jewelry as an artist?

I don’t think there’s a need to wear jewelry as an artist. That’s a personal choice. Doesn’t necessarily make or break the artist.
