Drake is Officially in "Album Mode"

While on vacation in the Turks and Caicos islands, Drake and photographer, Jamil GS, took some amazing shots of the OVO ringleader. Today, taking to Instagram, Drake not only shared some of his favorite photos from the shoot with Jamil, but that he was officially in “Album Mode.” At least five, of the six posts, were captioned with this.

Definitely something to look forward to, as Drake has been nothing but consistent with his releases. Check out a few of our favorite shots from the photo series below.

Kanye West Name Drops Drake on “What Would Meek Do” Extended Snippet

Kanye West Name Drops Drake on “What Would Meek Do” Extended Snippet

If you recall, a snippet of a Pusha T track titled “What Would Meek Do?” leaked last month - which contained lyrics that took aim at J. Cole: “You heard Cole on that song, he was tryna hate,” rapped Kanye.

And now, apparently, Kanye also had some things to say about Drake on the record. You can hear the extended version of the record after it surfaced earlier today. “I be thinking, what would Tupac do? You be thinking what New Kids On The Block do? Drizzy wearing Yeezys on the low though .Only repping Nike for the promo. The company growing faster than Flo-Jo. And we did with no logo,” raps Ye.

The jab stems from Drake’s lyrics on Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” where he raps, “Checks over Stripes, that’s what we like.” Ye immediately put Drake and Travis on blast: “How you gone be on Trav’s song coming at me. Trav should have never allowed that.”

This wasn’t the first time Drake referenced Kanye’s association with Adidas, though. In September of 2019, Drake was also heard rapping, “Keeping it G, I told her don’t wear no 350s around me,” on his verse on French Montana’s “No Stylist.”

It’s been a long time coming for Toronto Raptors fans.

As the team made their historical NBA Finals debut this post season, all eyes have been on Drake. As you know, the die-hard Raptors fan can be seen the sidelines at every Raptors game, cheering on his home squad. It was only right that the Jordan Brand dedicated a sneaker to both the team and Drake - the team’s global ambassador.

Utilizing the OG Air Jordan 7 silhouette, the “Raptors” edition is dipped in a black nubuck upper that’s contrasted with “Court Purple” and “University Red” highlights found on the TPU frames and heel guard. Drake’s signature can also be found on the tongue label along with additional Jumpman branding. The midsole is covered in a speckled black and purple combo.

Check out more photos of the release below. The Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” is available NOW on the Nike SNKRS app and website as well as select retailer for $200 USD.

Drake and Future’s ‘What a Time to Be Alive’ sequel teased on Instagram<

If you recall back in April, we started picking up on hints when Drake teased a new project on Instagram while holding up two fingers in a video with the caption: “We gotta took that up. That two.” And Future responded, “It’s already cooked. Top secret.”

Rumors of a sequel began long before 2018, though - when Future teased an unreleased collaboration with Drake on Snapchat. “What a Time to be Alive” was released in September 2015 - we think it’s about time for part two.
