Nipsey Hussle To Be Honored With Humanitarian Award at 2019 BET Awards

Nipsey Hussle To Be Honored With Humanitarian Award at 2019 BET Awards

In addition to a tribute performance by YG, John Legend and DJ Khaled, the late, Nipsey Hussle will also posthumously receive the Humanitarian Award at this year’s BET Awards.

As you all know, Nipsey Hussle was an active member of his community before he passed. His resilient efforts to serve those who were underserved and underrepresented doesn’t go unnoticed. Nipsey provided opportunities, through his various businesses, by employing those who were previously incarcerated.

A tribute performance is also scheduled with YG, John Legend and DJ Khaled leading the way. The trio will perform “Higher,” which was the last song Nipsey did a video for, before his untimely death.

New Video: YG Faces His Demons “In The Dark”

New Video: YG Faces His Demons “In The Dark”

This past Friday, YG released his highly anticipated “4REAL 4REAL” album. And to jumpstart the new week, he’s unveiled the visuals for his single, “In The Dark” - a cut off the project. In the clip, YG faces his demons after finishing ab bottle of Tequila Diablo. In an alternate universe, the Bompton rapper is surrounded by women dressed in scantily red outfits paired with devil horns, as he meets the Devil. The video takes a twisted turn as the dance floor gets over run with blood and a demon-like figure is seen strangling YG.

The dark visuals have a lot of hidden meaning, while the lyrics are pretty straightforward.

“I’m in the dark going brazy. I’m in the dark doin’ 20 past 80. My life dark but I see the truth. Pop up on your b*tch like peek-a-boo. I’m in the coupe, I don’t need the roof.”

YG Reveals “4REAL 4REAL” Release Date!

    Bompton stand up!

Multi-platinum, Def Jam artist, YG, is ready to unleash his fourth album. “4REAL 4REAL” is expected to do numbers after lead single “Go Loko” featuring Tyga and Jon Z went viral - amassing over 30 million streams to date! This past weekend, YG stole the show during his set at Rolling Loud Festival. If you’re in LA this June, YG will also be performing at the BETX Experience - as part of the 19th annual BET Awards at LA Live.

The arrival of “4REAL 4REAL” on May 24th builds on the extraordinary year that YG experienced in 2018 - which centered on his third album, “Stay Dangerous.” We can only imagine, and hope that this new album exceeds all expectations.

As we prepare for the drop, we take a look at some of favorited iced out looks that YG has given us throughout his career thus far.

Throwing his W's up, YG can always be seen with a couple chains dangling from his neck and gold links on his wrist. King Ice’s 14K Gold 10mm Rolex Watch Link Stainless Steel Bracelet will help you pull this look off as well.

If you're looking to accentuate your neckline with bold pieces, King Ice offers up an assortment of Cuban Chains that'll have you feeling Too Cocky, as well.
