Bio:

I was born in Casper, Wyoming where I currently reside, but raised in the midwest. I spent my younger years in Missouri (Kansas City & a small town called Sedalia). When I turned 12, I moved to Flint, Michigan and that's when the Hip-Hop bug took over. I started battling in lunch room cyphers, which got my name around the city. At 18, I joined the US Marine Corps and that's where I started DJing and the name Nyke (pronounced Nike, for my affinity to the shoe brand) was given to me because the Japanese where I was stationed could not pronounce my government name. I am currently a part-time disc jockey for Casper, WY pop radio station, 104.7 Kiss FM ( www.kisscasper.com ). I have opened for platinum rapper artists such as The Game, Mystikal and Petey Pablo, as well as Shawna (from Ludacris' DTP camp), DJ Unk, Eternal (from Wu-Tang Clan offshoot West Coast Killa Beez) and MC Magic (from NB Ridaz). I released a mix-tape in 2006 entitled Face Card Value which spawned 2 local singles, 'Love & Basketball' and 'Spellbound'.

My style is versatile and ranges from lyrical East Coast flows, which is where I get most of my inspiration, to party joints, down-south bangers and more hardcore street anthems. In addition to my solo career, I am in 2 separate Hip-Hop crews, No Goodaz & APN. In addition to myself, No Goodaz consist of songstress/rapper: Swagg'r Princess V (aka Veelo), lyrical technician: J Dolla & rapper/engineer: DJ Whyte Choc with whom I started my DJ company with, Fire Team Entertainment. No Goodaz released it's 1st mix-tape last summer entitled: 'Da Genesis'. No Goodaz received statewide notoriety for our remix of Wiz Khalifa's hit song 'Black & Yellow', after our state colors, entitled 'Brown & Yellow'.

We are currently in the studio working on our next project with local beatmaker supreme, Justyn Waves. APN consists of producer/rapper Addict (aka Addiction), Philadelphia native Philly Flamez & myself. APN were featured on the 'King Ice Cypha' track that garnered me the coveted position on Team King Ice. We are currently putting the finishing touches on our 1st album, which will be available for download soon. Keep a look out... WE COMING NEXT!!!
